Your Stellic Planner is the easiest way to register for classes. Use your individualized, 4-year plan as the base to build your schedule.

Please note that just adding classes to your Stellic Planner does not enroll you in those classes. Once you are ready, click the blue horizontal button "Confirm Courses for Registration" and complete registration. Check your schedule to confirm that you are enrolled.

You can view registration holds both in Stellic or in SOAR (Student Online Advising Records).
In Stellic, it shows up as a red banner at the top of each page. In SOAR, you can click on the Academic tab and see all of the information under "Holds."
You will want to have holds on your record released before your enrollment date for the next term.
View your Enrollment Date in Stellic or in SOAR (Student Online Advising Records).
In Stellic, your enrollment date appears in a yellow banner on your homepage. For SOAR, it is in the Home page under "Active Enrollment Dates."
Your Enrollment Date is the earliest date and time you can register for classes. It is set by the Office of the Registrar and is based on the total number of credits you have completed. You cannot change your enrollment date.
Are the classes you want full? Waitlist! We encourage waitlisting because there is a possibility that you could get into your preferred class. Learn more about waitlisting and get tips from Student Central on Union. Here are the steps for waitlisting in Stellic:

Important: Monitor your email and Stellic account regularly while on a waitlist to avoid missing notifications.

Are you getting an error telling you that the class is restricted or that you haven’t met course requisites?
Sometimes holds or other issues prevent students from registering before the semester begins. If you're in this situation, here's what you need to know.
Your academic advisor can help you set and meet your academic goals at IU Bloomington. Find your advisor's name and contact information in SOAR (Student Online Advising Records). Click the "Schedule Appointment" button under their name to schedule your advising appointment.
