If you fail to meet your degree/major program's minimum academic standards, you could be dismissed from the program for one or more semesters. If you wish to continue in the same degree, you might become eligible to apply for reinstatement into the program, and should consult your school with related questions.
On the other hand, if you aren't sure whether you wish to continue with the same degree and want to discuss alternatives, you are welcome to complete the Students in Transition (SIT) referral form. An SIT advisor will be in touch.
If you are dismissed from your degree/major, you might still be eligible to continue working towards a degree in SIT if you change your major to something outside of your originally intended school. However, not all dismissed students may be eligible to continue in SIT. Students should fill out the SIT referral form. An SIT advisor can explain your academic status and discuss potential options with you.
